NURS 5971 Family Centered Care for Infants, Children, and Adolescents
Beginning with growth, development and anticipatory guidance for the well pediatric population which includes infants, children and adolescents. The course incorporates assessment, diagnosis, and management using evidence-based practices of acute and chronic conditions. This includes developmental transitions within the family context including behavioral and developmental issues. Therapeutic interventions and pharmacologic and non-pharmacological interventions will be discussed.
