NURS 5612 Acute Care II
Provides the essential foundation for the provision of care to adult and geriatric patients experiencing acute, critical, and complex chronic conditions and is designed to complement NURS 5602 – Acute Care I. Problem identification, differential diagnoses, and management of traumatic injuries and those diseases related to the endocrine, renal, gastrointestinal, and hematologic systems will be explored utilizing various educational technologies. The influence of genetics on disease processes will be incorporated.
