NURS 5650 Interprofessional Practice in Hospice and Palliative Care

Students are supported in the acquisition of foundational knowledge and skills necessary to collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to provide high-quality, person- and family-centered care to individuals and families living with or affected by serious illnesses, including end-of-life. Preparation is provided for practice with patients and families across the life course in a broad range of settings including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, inpatient hospice settings, and private residences.
