NURS 5808 Primary Care I Clinical
Prepares the nurse practitioner student to provide evidence-based and best practices to design, manage and evaluate comprehensive person-centered care within regulatory and educational scope of practice in a variety of settings. Working in collaboration with nurse practitioner/MD preceptors, the NP student will provide healthcare services which include health promotion, disease prevention, anticipatory guidance, counseling, disease management, and palliative and end of life care. Includes 180 clinical hours.
