Research Experience Program

The Research Experience Student Mentor Program (REx) will allow students to participate in mentored research experiences. The goal of this program is to encourage Goldfarb School of Nursing (GSON) students to enter PhD programs with a focus on recruitment to GSON. Along with the Director of the REx Program, students will identify a research faculty mentor from GSON, Washington University or the Washington University School of Medicine. Students will be provided with an opportunity to participate in an on-going research study and/or perform on a research project during their mentorship. A didactic teaching program will provide training in research study design and the scientific method. Each student will receive a $500 discount on tuition for each term to compensate them for their participation in the program.
