Orientation and Transition Experiences
Orientation and transition experiences provide intentional, in-time support to incoming undergraduate and graduate students beginning or returning to continue their program of study. The purpose of orientation and transition experiences are to help students become informed, connected, and confident about what to expect as they start the nursing program. New students are required to complete and attend specific orientation and transition experiences. Orientation and Transition experiences may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Orientation Course
- Compliance Modules and Requirements
- New Student Orientation Session
- Supplemental Sessions (as needed)
- Welcome Week (first week of each term)
- Student Success Benchmarks
