NURS 5602 Acute Care I
Provides the essential foundation for the provision of care to adult and geriatric patients experiencing acute, critical, and complex chronic health conditions. Problem identification, differential diagnosis, and management of illnesses and diseases related to the neurologic, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems, as well as infectious diseases, will be explored utilizing various educational technologies. The influence of genetics on disease processes will be explored.
