NURS 5110 Pharmacotherapeutics
Emphasis is placed on the knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage common acute
and chronic health problems in the primary care setting. Pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics of all broad categories of agents will be discussed. The selection of drug therapy, use of monitoring parameters, the provision of client education, and the adherence to legal principles are emphasized.
