NURS 5501 Practicum II: Teaching Strategies and Learning Assessment
Key theories of human nature, culture, and society related to teaching and learning are explored. A foundation in theory and research to inform instructional planning in a variety of settings is developed. Methods and evidence-based practices used by educational practitioners are introduced, as well as educational techniques and methods used in group facilitation, classroom interaction, and patient and community education are explored. Application of theory to guide selection, utilization, and integration of technology in healthcare education is examined.
