NURS 6122 Skills-and-Procedures-for-the-Primary-Care-NP

Provides an overview and introduction to various types of medical procedures that frequently occur in an office-based medical encounter. Procedures and theory of practice as well as the practical application of various clinical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures will be reviewed to ensure high quality and safe care to perform procedures. A review of anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, indications, precautions, assessment, patient preparation, equipment list, procedure interpretation of results patient education, follow-up, and current procedure technology will be presented.
