NURS 6001 Evidence-based decision making for Population Health
Evidence-based decision making from a population-based frame of reference will be emphasized. The data abstraction and utilization skills needed to compile and generate decision options will be introduced and applied to high risk population case studies and/or clinical experiences. Data validity, reliability, and concepts of meta-analysis will be applied. Supervised and self-directed application hours will demonstrate the ability to identify and implement population-based decisions using health care data.
