NURS 3250W Evidence-Based Practice & Research
Emphasis is placed on assisting students to become effective consumers of research in order to integrate evidence into practice. Use of theory as a guide for research and for improving the practice of professional nursing is highlighted. Ethical issues applicable to the use of human subjects in research are explored. The process of utilization of research in practice and the development of evidence-based nursing practice are addressed.
Prerequisite
Admission to BSN Program and undergraduate statistics course.
