NURS 3000 Success Seminar

This course is designed to assist students in identifying College support systems and to teach behaviors, strategies, and learning skills that will enable them to build a foundation for success at Goldfarb. In addition, students will reflect on potential barriers to success and develop personal strategies to overcome these barriers. The primary focus of this course is on key factors that impact personal, academic and career success. Topics discussed include an overview of the nursing school experience, GSON policies and procedures, learning styles, test taking strategies, strengthening academic performance, career development, diversity awareness, and other current topics in the nursing field.
