Canvas Access

Canvas Access:

All students will get two login IDs for Canvas. Both will be accessing the same Canvas account:

• Personal Canvas ID
  • This is the first ID the student will receive
  • It is tied to the student personal email until the standard Canvas ID is created
  • It can be used as a backup access to Canvas
  • Only works at https://canvas.barnesjewishcollege.edu/login/canvas
  • The password is not synchronized with any other application
  • To reset the password, go to https://canvas.barnesjewishcollege.edu/login/canvas and click the "Forgot Password" link
• Standard Canvas ID
  • Generated a week or two later
  • It is the same ID/password than other applications across BJC, including GusConnect, Windows, SABA, EPIC, Outlook, etc.
  • It only works at https://canvas.barnesjewishcollege.edu/
  • Resetting the Windows password will also reset the standard Canvas ID

 

 

Alternative method to log in: Once logged in to the GUS Connect portal, select Canvas from the navigational bar on the left.

 

 

 

Note: Canvas courses will be unavailable to the students one week after the last day of class
