NURS 4910A Nursing Management of Adult Health II Synthesis
Adult health content and concepts continue to be addressed in protection, excretion, mobility, sensation, cognition, emergency nursing, and critical care concepts. Nursing interventions and education for patients and their families are based on current evidence. The student will synthesize the theoretical concepts necessary to assume a leadership role in nursing. Delegation, decision-making, conflict resolution and care will be critiqued. The organization of healthcare delivery will be critiqued including financial, legal and ethical factors that influence healthcare delivery. The preceptorship will include simulation as well as acute care patients.
