NURS 6523 Foundations of Scholarly Writing and Evidence-Based Practice
Focuses on evidence-based practice (EBP) exploring various forms of evidence to inform, evaluate and translate evidence for practice and advancement of the discipline. Scholarly writing development will focus on skills to transition to graduate level writing. Presentation of ideas, articulating concepts and evidence-based findings in a logical, scholarly manner, while applying the American Psychological Association (APA) format style will be developed. Key principles such as planning, designing, and executing effective presentations in a variety of professional settings will be explored.
