NURS 6007 Professional Aspects of Advanced Practice Nursing
Focuses on essential aspects of the advanced practice nursing role across settings. Scope of practice, business plan development, strategic planning, and the financial components of practice are introduced. Theoretical frameworks and principles of change management, systems thinking, communication, collaboration, professional growth, and self care are explored. Includes an historical perspective of nursing and the evolution of the nurse practitioner role and advanced practice nursing.
