NURS 6500 Leadership and Collaboration for Quality and Safety
Analyzes and promotes integration of organizational and transformational leadership theories for advanced nursing practice. Introduces and explores strategies that support quality improvement, interprofessional collaboration, advocacy, change management, and systems thinking to optimize safety and organizational effectiveness and provides students opportunities to apply and refine skills. Prepares students to effectively lead and practice within health systems in a variety of advanced practice nursing roles. Proposal for the DNP project is drafted.
