NURS 4810J Advanced Concepts in the Nursing Care of Children and Families
Will build on the foundational theory of the nursing care of children and families provided in previous courses. Using a variety of teaching methodologies, the course will emphasize safety issues, with a strong emphasis on communication between nurses and caregivers as well as ethical issues confronting nurses, children and families who are experiencing acute, chronic, and terminal illnesses.

Completion of Term II (Accelerated Option) and enrollment in NURS 4970; Completion of Term III (Upper Division Option) and enrollment in NURS 4160A/U
