NURS 4810K Advanced Concepts: Perinatal Nursing

Explores the care of women and the childbearing family before, during and after pregnancy with complications.  The focus is on the health risks most likely to impact childbearing and various methods of responding to factors that may influence outcomes for mother and baby.  An emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse in caring for women and their families’ experiences pregnancy related complications.
