Post-Master's Nurse Educator Certificate Program

Goldfarb offers a post-master’s certificate for Nurse Educator for masters- and doctoral-prepared nurses who want to improve their teaching careers or for those who would like to begin their teaching careers. The Nurse Educator Program prepares students to expand upon roles in a variety of settings by integrating prior learning with advanced discipline-specific coursework and clinical experiences. Students become skilled educators with competencies in patient education, staff development and academic education.

Graduates will be prepared to take the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator (CNE®) exam and/or the Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE-Cl®) upon completion of requisite experience. The Nurse Educator role is recognized by NLN as a specialty area of practice.

Post MSN graduates who have already completed advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and advanced heath assessment are eligible to transfer up to nine (9) credits.
