NURS 5603 Acute Care I Clinical
Clinical practicum prepares the nurse practitioner student to provide evidence-based care for adult and geriatric patients experiencing acute, critical, and/or complex chronic health conditions in a variety of healthcare settings. Focuses on the development of health assessment skills and diagnostic reasoning, the formulation of differential diagnoses and person-centered plans of care, and evaluation within interprofessional teams.
