NURS 4236 Social Determinants of Health and Vulnerable Populations
This course examines the complex social, economic, and environmental factors that influence health outcomes across populations. Learners will explore structural inequities, health disparities, barriers to care, and strategies for promoting equity in healthcare delivery. Emphasis is placed on the nurse’s role in advocacy, community engagement, and developing interventions that address the needs of vulnerable populations.
