NURS 6515 DNP Basic Principles of Anesthesia I
Introduces the art and science of nurse anesthesia and involves the discussion of basic anesthetic principles. This course is designed to provide students with basic information on the different types of anesthesia and introductory information related to patients receiving anesthesia, including the preoperative assessment, non-invasive monitoring, fluid therapy, positioning and anesthetic awareness.
